Bogar Ventura, DC is a board-certified chiropractor practicing at Edward C. Murphy, MD, PA in Houston. He has practiced at the Houston Medical Center since 2004, where he treats the full range of neuromusculoskeletal disorders in patients of all ages and from around the world.
Dr. Ventura provides general chiropractic services, specializing in the comprehensive care of plantar fasciitis, muscle spasms, headaches, sciatica, knee pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, low back pain, herniated disc, neck pain, all joint pains, and thoracic outlet syndrome.
Dr. Ventura received his Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. Before joining the team at Edward C. Murphy, MD, he gained extensive experience in the health field, including the intensive care of patients as a case manager and as a program coordinator for developmentally disabled clients.
Dr. Ventura is an adjunct professor at the Texas Chiropractic College and vice president of Texas Medical Misión, a nonprofit program providing medical care to underserved communities in Latin America. He also travels with Dr. Murphy to Lima, Peru, where he treats patients in rural clinics who need chiropractic services.
A former board member of the Arthritis Foundation of Houston, Dr. Ventura continues to serve as a member of the foundation. He’s also an active member of the Hispanic American Medical Association of Houston and maintains membership in professional organizations such as the Texas Chiropractic Association.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Ventura lives in Houston with his high school sweetheart and their wonderful daughter. He’s also fluent English and Spanish.
